Matthew Halloran, MSHS, Certified Life Coach
Matthew started his professional life in the United States Navy and proudly served during Desert Storm. He worked directly for the Captain of the ship and was introduced to management and motivation skills at a very early age. At the age of 20 Matthew became the Officer of the Deck. Matthew then attended Western Michigan University where he majored in Applied Ethics and focused on communication and business ethics. Matthew was then granted an internship teaching doctors and nurses to use ethical problem solving techniques and to communicate with their patients in a way the patient can understand.
Matthew then went into the human services field working with teens and families teaching social skills and behavioral techniques to shape and ultimately change behavior. He found the most effective way to teach those things were setting clear boundaries and communicating expectations clearly, which has been a model he uses with businesses and individuals.
Matthew then attended Graduate School studying Counseling Techniques and Life Coaching. Matthew was a therapist in private practice for a time until he realized that his skills of teaching and coaching would suit him and his client’s best.
Currently, Matthew is a business coach for a private company in Omaha, NE that teaches Financial Advisors how to run their practice more effectively. He is the co-creator of the True Wealth Institute and he is the primary instructor. Matthew teaches financial advisors to listen with empathy, communicate with clarity and help clients find what really motivates them. Matthew is also the president of BASHA Services which is a private coaching, training, and consulting firm that focuses on creating direction and clarity for your business. Matthew is an expert consultant on AllExperts.com and has helped people all over the United States find clarity and focus in their lives. Matthew will be an adjunct professor at Bellevue University where he will teach MBA candidates how to become executive coaches and will be editing a book on the history of Professional Coaching.
